License Naturopathic Doctors in New York State!
I went up to Albany yesterday with Assemblyman Felix Ortiz and New York Association of Naturopathic Physcians president Peter Bongiorno, ND, LAc. NYS Assembly Bill 5913 that has a good chance of passing. The NYS Senate has supported the licensure of Naturopathic Doctors in New York State in the past but you need both houses to get it done. The assemblyman Felix Ortiz is sponsoring this bill; he has sponsored so many good bills in the past including no texting while driving regulations. He did amazing work for employees rights early in his career. He supports New Yorkers’ right to choose the type of healthcare they want and need including the licensure of Naturopathic Doctors!

Fighting for #naturopathicmedicine licensing in New York: today, the NYANP and Dr. Peter had a great meeting strategizing with key legislators, including Assemblyman Felix Ortiz, the bill sponsor in the Assembly. Assemblyman Ortiz is also the man who created and fought industry to enact the car-cell phone legislation, which is now in all 50 states. He is a politician who fights for what he believes is right.
